With more than 25 years of experience, Dr. Stavropoulos brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team, further strengthening Lumati's commitment to pioneering health and longevity.
Dr. Stavropoulos is a double board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon with extensive experience in all thoracic diseases. He is the Director of Thoracic Oncology at The Lefcourt Family Cancer Treatment and Wellness Center and Chief of Thoracic Surgery at Englewood Health. In this capacity, he has been instrumental in developing a multidisciplinary pulmonary nodule and thoracic cancer program. His numerous peer-reviewed publications and research have been widely recognized in making significant advancements in patient outcomes.
Dr. Stavropoulos’s passion for oncology is driven by his commitment to enhancing cancer care and patient outcomes. He has vast experience in treating various chest, lung, mediastinal, and esophageal conditions, with a special interest in detecting and managing early-stage lung cancer. His expertise and skills include using advanced robotic and minimally invasive techniques that help diagnose and treat patients more effectively and safely.
Dr. Stavropoulos also previously served as the medical director of OffTheScale, a platform dedicated to precision medicine aimed at slowing, stopping, and reversing chronic diseases. His leadership and vision in this role further underscore his commitment to innovative healthcare solutions.
